Intermittent Fasting: Diet or Helpful Plan?
We go into spurts and phases where certain diets, diet plans are all the rage. For a while it was keto which is still around. Intermittent fasting has been around for several years (as well as fasting in general) but intermittent fasting doesn’t seem to be going anywhere anytime soon.
Intermittent fasting is an eating pattern where you cycle between periods of eating and fasting.
It does not say anything about which foods to eat, but rather when you should eat them.
It’s really more of a eating style instead of an eating pattern or traditional diet.
However, there are several questions to know if anything is just another diet or not:
1. Do you ignore your hunger?
2. Eat only certain foods? Or Avoid certain foods?
3. Eat on a schedule?
4. Eating pattern is not intended for forever.
If you answered yes to any of these, then it is indeed a diet.
