Smokey tempe sandwiches

For the Tempeh

  • 1 tsp dried smoked paprika

  • ½ tbsp extra virgin coconut oil

  • 1 tsp garlic powder

  • 1 tbsp maple syrup

  • 1 tbsp nutritional yeast

  • 3 tbsps soy sauce

  • 7 oz tempeh (sliced)

Directions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350 °F (175 degrees) and cover a baking tray with baking paper.

  2. Mix all the ingredients for the tempeh and dip/soak the tempeh sliced in it.

  3. Put the tempeh slices on the baking tray and roast them in the oven for about 20 minutes

  4. Toast two slices whole grain bread and add avocado, lettuce, tomato and tempe
