She LOVED it!

Here's a quick recap in case you haven't seen my stories recently.

Last January, my very good friend invited me to #zahavrestaraunt in Philadelphia for her birthday. This is a very popular Israeli restaurant and getting reservations is very challenging. So to be invited was my pleasure. Our plan was to drive from Baltimore (where we live) to Philadelphia (where the restaurant is) one afternoon, enjoy dinner, then drive home that evening.

But, mother nature had different plans. That day brought a wintery mix, with sleet, freezing rain and some snow. Obviously, we did not want to be driving that distance in this weather so we cancelled our plans thinking we would reschedule for May (for obvious reasons that did not happen).

I recently purchased the Zahav cookbook and yesterday made an incredible meal.

And the best part is that I surprised that same friend, who celebrates her birthday today! She loved the surprise and it was a great way to celebrate!
